Charlotte, NC Engine shop to do h/c work
Charlotte, NC Engine shop to do h/c work I have luckily been able to sell my 68 Porsche and now have the bux to get a h/c package and other mods but now need somewhere local to do the work and not mess up my engine.
Does anyone know a place around Charlotte, NC that can do this work? I know about More Performance but would like other suggestions.
Here are the packages I am looking at:
1. MTI stage I h/c with B1 cam
2. SLP - LEVEL 1-Cylinder Head and Camshaft Package (350 cu.in/410-445 hp)
I know they are not extrememly agressive but enough to do the job and not requier me to put a roll bar on my convertible just to goto the drag strip.
After this is complete, then the rear end and brakes.

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with the Stage 1 head and cam kits at SLP, MTI or LS1 Motorsports.

They are all about the same, just wanted to know if anyone had any good or bad info on these setups.
