Default Rocker arm question

would it be detramental if you cut the aluminum bar that the rockers go on into just groupings of 2? i was just thinking about how the bar gets in the way of the head bolts, and with my ARP head studs id like to go back through and torque everything down.. but id prefer not to have to remove all rocker arms. i plan on doing a head swap very soon and was wondering that while its appart if i could cut them into 2s or if it would create some problem. personal experience or something more than "i dont think it would work" or "just leave it alone" would be greatly appreciated, if you say it cant be done, say why.

I think you would give up some high RPM valvetrain stability in a design thats not all that strong to begin with.
