Default New Heads, Runs Great, Funky Msgs

I'm new to this board, but thought I would impose and ask a question related to a problem that's annoying me.

I installed new heads and cam on my 01 ZO6 (along with other gizmos) and the car runs great....idles fine and runs awesome...but I get this "Service Active Handling" message along with the traction control light.

I've scanned the beast and get a lot of BCM error codes like U1000, U1016, U1096, U1040, U1064, U1255....all with descriptions of "Loss of communications", etc)

Do any of you think these could be related, and has anyone seen these before. I cleared the codes but they just pop right back.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Sounds like you may have missed a couple of connections??? The "Loss of communications" message seems like your ECM is not communicating with the computer that controls the Active Handling system. I'm not positive on this, but I believe C5's have multiple computer systems on board.

Also, is it possible you missed a ground strap?

Hope this helps...

xtra cajun, is right C5 has serial data communication between all modules and any U codes indicates this type of problem.Ground connections are a real probable cause of this or loose/corroded fuse connections in fuse box or chafed wiring from install work or pinched wiring from improper routing.
