I am about finished with my cam/header combo. my following mods are. ported tb, maf, whisper lid, ftra, slp loudmouth. My car seems to dyno a bit higher then my friends with same mods. it put down 339/341 with mods above. M6 by the way. My question is.. I am putting in a comp 218/218 .563 114 lsa cam and hooker lt's in the car. What could I expect my horsepower to jump up to? TIA

 

From lurking on this board and ls1.com I would think you would get around 390 to 400rwhp.What year is your car..you didn't mention ls6 intake but of course if its 2001 or 2002 you already have one.I would hope for 390 to 400 with some longtubes and maybe an ati pulley and my existing mods.Those split duration cams seem to really put out the power..almost wished I got one but I heard the b1 is still a pretty good choice with nos and I didn't really want a super lopey car.

 

Its a 2000 so I dont have the ls6 intake but it is definately in my plans to do. Do you really think I will gain 50 hp with headers/cam?

 

You have a high dynoing car but the norm for cam with stock heads is around 370-385 I think depending on other mods.
