Default Engine running rough...any ideas

After unloading from a day at the track my engine started missing really bad. Feels like it is running on 7 cylinders. I found a plug wire that had a hole burnt in it. Replaced all plug wires, but no change. Threw Atap on it and my O2's at idle were steady at .950. The A/F guage was steady in the green as well. This O2 sensor only had about 300 miles on it. Replaced it with an old one and car started running a little better. It is still running rough at anything over idle though.

Any chance I hurt the coil from the plug wire grounding to the header? It also sounds like my valvetrain is also a little noisier. What does a broken valve spring sound like. I have a new cam and springs to install but wanted to fix the problem before I install them.

Any chance that running open headers can damage the O2 sensor's?

TIA
-Allen

1st this if you have not done so yet..Pull the coils and lift the valve covers to see if you broke a spring. Most often I bet you may have bent a rod.
