Default CAM SWAP PARTS

last 2 cams where installed for me, but now i gotta do it myself so , what am i going to need as fars as speacil tools and gaskets. its on a 2001 so i know most of the gaskets/seals can be reused. all i have is the cam, springs and retainers. plze be as specific as possible, im gonna tryi it over the weekend. thanx in advance <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

u don't need any gaskets. you'll need a pulley puller from pep boys. and that's really about it except for like 10mm and 13mm sockets with a few extensions. that's if ur just doing the cam though. if ur changing springs then u need more.

I would defintely replace all the gaskets when doing a cam swap. These gaskets are very cheap and just soon replace them when you are in there. Thunder Racing sells a nice gasket package that includes everything you need for a nice, clean install.

gaskets on 2000 and up are metal gaskets and are reusable....why bother?

yes im changing springs too, i know i need the pulley puller, spring compressor and i have an air compressor and fitting for the spark plug holes, what eles......

so i just need to break out the tools and the parts and i dont need anything eles (besides the pulley puller, spring compressor and new pulley bolt)? is this right?
