Default I got stage 1 heads done, #'s inside.

I had my heads ported at a local shop and all he did was port the bowls and around the valve guides. he put in 2.02 farea valves but left the exhaust valves stock . he did not open up the int. runners any because I want to shift at no higher than 6300rpms with the hammer cam. here are the #'s on the int. at (.200/134 cfm).300/191cfm(.400/233cfm).500/256cfm(.600/257cfm).700/262cfm . On the exhaust side they are real nice (.200/114cfm).300/163cfm(.400/190cfm).500/208cfm (.600/219cfm).700/223cfm. so what do you all think this should make for rwhp and tq with the hammer cam and stock ls1 intake for now and later I will buy another ls6 intake? The car has Mac ceramic coated headers amd edelbrock cat back, whisper lid and ram air kit. ported maf ends, and 4.10 gears in stock rear end. Is low 12's posible on Nittos with about 1.90 short times or so? thanks , Chad <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

I think your low 12's should be no problem, if i may critique your flow numbers, i think your intake flow #'s are low for 2.02" valve, but i think your exhaust #'s are strong.Let us know what it runs,LS6 intake should help alot.

Yeah , the reason for the low int. numbers is he did no port work in the runners , the reason he wanted to dod the 2.02 int.valves is so he could get a better cut on the valve job.( 5 angle ) He asked me what was I gonna do with the car and I told him that I was not looking to zing the moter up to 6900 as most are doing because I have found out the hard way that it is an expensive eng . to build. If I ever want to change my mind and turn it up harder then I might take them back off and finish the intake sidewith bigger runners . <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />
