Default I ordered the tr 230/224 cam and was wondering ....

what heads do you think would go with these well. I have flp long tube headers. I was looking at the stage two set up that total engine airflow has and was wondering is there a better head for $1800-2000 range. I am trying to make a smart choice with the money I have. thank guys <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

no question, without a doubt the BEST bang for the buck are ragingmotorsport's heads. mark has pulled 431 RWHP through a moser rear and no dyno tricks for around 1800-1900 dollars. Thunder racing heads are great (GTP) but you are going to spend a premium (about a grand more) and wait a while!

TEA makes good power. I know a couple guys that are over 400 rwhp with their heads and a cam. Might want to check out www.mtfba.com because I know some guys from there are running their heads. Sporadic on here does and there is a guy that got stage 1 heads that was close or maybe even hit 400 rhwp.
