see if u could answer this question

ok i called a junk yard and they have a 2500 heavy duty engine which is a 6.0, is this 6.0 the same as an ls2

I would think iron block 6.0 for the 2500's.

yea the trucks have a iron block that is correct, i believe its called the LQ9 motor

2500 truck is actually the lower compression LQ4.
