Nasty, nice #s too bad your in Ill.
Shawn, thanks. The comparison of stock to worked is great. You can really see the diminishing returns over about .525 lift, on the intake side. I would think you realy have to rev to benefit more. Would you have the exhaust #'s. I have a feeling there is a lot to be gained on the exhaust side.

The exhaust on these heads out pace the intake, there is no reason to try to gain too much here, because you just lose power!

On the "diminishing returns" over .500", it is very important to have a cam that lifts good - .600" with agressive ramps will make alot more power than a .500" one.

Reason is, because I spend more time @.300, @.400,@.500-.600 - where the heads actually flow.

Shawn, I'm interested in stock LS1 ratio of exhaust to intake flow #'s. That's why I would like to see the exhaust #s as well. I agree with your point, but, for someone like me, it seems that a .525 to .550 would make for a nice,"quick", daily driver.
