flow #'s for t.e.a. stage 2 heads ...

Default flow #'s for t.e.a. stage 2 heads ...

at.60 lift 305.5 intake and 245.8 exhaust ccfm. Ive seen some other stage two jobs by other companies and these seem to compare well. But I have also read that flow #'s arent accurate. Should I be happy or say I spent $1800 on 30rwhp?

The #'s sound good, but #'s do not always determine the outcome..

That exhaust cfm@.600 was done with a stack or tuned pipe I would bet. Great numbers!

You put on some TEA Stage 2 heads and gained 30rwhp? No other changes? I didn't see a cam listed in your sig., what cam are you running, headers? etc.

Thanks for any info you could provide.

I spoke with TEA this w/e in St. Louis at the WFC. They had some heads there, they looked real nice. Did you get any low lift numbers? They do alot of heads for the Mustang guys, have heard nothing but good stuff about them.

A friend of mine had his Canfield heads ported by TEA, their work was top notch IMO.

Figures at .600 lift really don't mean squat unless you're running a cam that is at least 600 lift and thats a huge cam. CFM flows numbers: the saying applies here, bigger not always better. Sometimes hogging out the heads too much can give great CFM numbers but eliminate your needed turbulance; therefore, costing you MPH down the track.

I acquired a set of 6.0L heads that were ported by TEA. The flow sheets at .550 lift were just a hair under 300 (intake) 245 (exhaust). My friend who owns a performance shop in San Antonio (Axis Industries) was impressed by the porting done. Unfortunately, no dyno numbers yet.

I have their stage 1 heads with factory valves and they rock. They are excellent heads.

The stage 2 heads rock. They focus on midlift flow and make great power.
