I have always used Castrol GTX 10w-30. And I was wondering if I would have any problems changing over? Like a drop in oil pressure or something(since the 10w-30 is what it is used to)
I have heard that I will have problems with oil leaks. Is this true??
TIA
Josh S.

How many miles did your car have on it when you changed over? My car has 51K right now. Should it matter anyway?

I had around 15k on the clock when I changed over the first time.
I went back to dino oil for one change around 32k (stranded in Canada couldn't get what I wanted). Didn't make a dern difference.
Changed back to synthetic the very next oil change.
I have always used the same weight oil, and have never noticed a change.
When I change oil weight though, I do notice a difference. I burn more oil if I go to a lighter weight. The car currently has over 50k on the clock.
