Default Need some help with my bottom end!

what i need to know is i got my block comin out and i am gonna get forged rods, pistons, and get some plasma moly rings, and new bearings. what i need to know is what rods,rings,pistons,bearings should i go with??? i think i wanna order all of this stuff myself, and do i absolutly have to change the rods, would it be smart??? should i go with a .0030 over piston??And who do i buy all this stuff from?

What i have is completly ported stage 2 equivalant heads, 218,221 555lift at 114lsa.
ls6 intake and i plan on putting a 100-150 wet shot on it. i also have headders and all the normal small stuff please help! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I would change the rods if you are planning on spinning it above 7000RPM or using a power adder. As far as piston selection do you mean .030" over? The maximum safe overbore on a 2000 or newer LS1/LS6 block is .010".

Personally, I would call Nick or Barry at ARE, but others will advise you to call Jason (or other) at MTI.

I know ARE carries Lunati rods, Ross Pistons (usually come with Total Seal rings), bearings, heads, everything you need.

You can only go .010 over without resleeving the block. If you do that, you might as well go big bore and make a 393 or something like that.
