Jason 98 TA is running a 6.0L hybrid Escalade motor in his 2000 stepside Silverado. He has gotten mid-13's out of it, N/A with stock '01 heads and factory exhaust manifolds. More than likely it is a 12 second truck with nitrous, but he doesn't have any timeslips on the juice.
Parts list:
2001 6.0 longblock from 2500HD, installed flat-top Escalade pistons.
Mild cam.
Stall convertor.
4.10 gears.
Tires.
!Muffler.
He recently put in a bigger cam, but I don't think he has run it at the track yet. Go to the Gen III truck section and search around some for more details.
