Default replace pistons?

can you replace the pistons from the bottom end of a c5 corvette with the heads and pan off and the motor in the car?

I have never built or rebuilt an LS1/6 but I have a few 4 bangers. My guess is that yes, it is possible.

Why go to that much trouble? I think it would be easier to pull the motor out and do it the right way. It may be possible, but I sure wouldn't do it that way.

You should just pull the motor. It would be a lot easier.
