Default what the hell???

i was talkin to a friend today...and he brought to my atention to check and see wat casting heads i have...

now im not the first owner of my car.. and i have no idea of previous history...

now i was told the casting number of the head is suppose to be on the passenger side.. on the outer corner... in my case its not.. the casting is on the diver side head outer corner... the casting is "853" my friend also pointed out that, that casting came out on 98s... but i dont think that my car can have 98 heads.. cuz mine are center bolts.. not perimiter ones... what do you guys think of this? i seriously doubt i have any kind of after market head because my dyno numbers arnt even that high really.. i just have full exhaust, free mods, lid and filter... so what do you guys think???

Your friend is really confused.

853's ran from 98 to mid 2000. Changed to centerbolt in 99

Head casting #'s are on driver's side front corner and passenger side rear corners.

They're stock heads.
