Re: Comp Cam Specs Inside ?
I had nearly the same cam in my car for awhile. It was a 220/224 .532/.535 114lsa. With GTP ported heads and ~3350lbs raceweight I ran a best of 10.89@122mph.
The idle was almost stock sounding @ 975rpm.

It's not a "big" cam at all. I would go with something like the TR220 cam before I did the 214/224 that you've mentioned. It will be very tame, and it will net some nice power considering. You should be able to see a solid 30 RWHP, give or take a few, from the TR220. The lift is around .560", and you can get it on a 112 or 114 LSA. This is assuming that you haven't already bought the 214/224. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Comp Cam Specs Inside ?
How much power can I expect from this cam (comp cam) :
Lift is .523 .535, duration is .214 .224 and lobe is 114.
Using Comp 918's.
Mods to date :
2001 Z28 A4 w 3.23 Performance Axle
Bassani Mid Length Headers & Bassani Y-pipe
Vig 2800 / B&M Cooler
Shaner S2 Throttle Body
K&N FIPK
Accel 9000 Wires
NGK TR55's
Corsa Cat Back
When the cam is installed the car will receive LS1 edit tuning.

Re: Comp Cam Specs Inside ?
Hey Trevor...
Actually my cam was selected by Speedworks based on my requirements. I basically wanted 360-370 rwhp that is emissions friendly due to the emissions crack down. I'm basically cam handicapped and I have no Idea what I needed (my bad), guess I should have posted this prior to having Speedworks choose for me.
Thanks for your reply

I'm making 363 RWHP with the LS6 cam, MTI stage 1 heads, MAC headers, Direct Flo lid, and underdrive pulley. Idles exactly like stock with no drivability probs at all. The car flew through emissions here in Houston which has gotten pretty tough lately. The motto: with good heads and a well planned package, you can make 360+ RWHP and have awesome streetability.
PS: the LS6 cam is a lot cheaper than a custom gring cam.
