do new heads full porting and polish job really make a big difference or no? i justg baught a set of stock ones and i want to get it done but befor i spend 1200 on the job i want make sure im not just waisting money on something thats not going to help much...let me know thanks

30-50 hp.for $1200.00. Sounds worth while to me!! Make sure you have them ported by a person familiar with LS heads. Look into Texas Speed. I think they will do it for $1100.00.

 

I once sprayed a 50hp nitrous jet with my NX Nitrous system. Although you could feel more power, it was not that much more than stock.

Save your money for a larger short block 408 then bolt on your stock unported heads for a better power improvement
