I would stay away from the 941 on the LS1/LS6, nothing wrong with them on other applications such as L98 or LT1 depending on the cam. The 918s we use up to a 224 cam with no more than .570 lift. For more aggressive cams we use a dual spring setup that requires no seat cutting and clears the stock rockers.

use the 918, it's rated at around .600~.625 max lift.
<strong>941 has a maximum lift of 0.500, most aftermarket cams are rated at.530~.590 lift so it's pretty much a time-bomb and ready to go kaboom if you're still running them with your T1/B1/TR224 or any other popular cams with .500+ lift. check out the 941 specs here: http://www.compcams.com/catalog/306_307.html

BTW, I've been running my 941's with my T1 cam (.558/.558 221/221 112lsa) for 45,000 miles... couple of my stock lifters recently took a dump on my T1 and took it out... I now have a .574/.574 222/222 114lsa cam with my same 45K mile 941's and they are just great... the old batch of 941's are just fine...
