Default NAPA head gaskets are here.

I called 4 different NAPA stores last week with 3 of them saying they are unavailable.I called the fourth saying the same thing and that they have 18 warehouses and none have them. And this was a lady helping me,shes like i'll just call the manufacture that makes they and order them from there.Which to also confirm that the NAPA head gaskets are the same one's from the dealer. It's just the wrapping is different which has the napa wrapping. That was last friday and yesterday(tuesday) they were here.I went and picked them up today. So if a NAPA store tells you there unavailable, just keep pushing the issue and tell them to order them from the manufacture, which they do have.Check em out

That is great news. I had to deal with the "unavailable" statement when I ordered mine from Napa four weeks ago. I called 3 different stores too. I was finally able to locate some (head gaskets only) from a dealer.

One local NAPA store said they ordered some for me then changed thier mind and said they can't get them after 2 weeks of waiting. Went to another store and they flat out said no.

I don't want to deal with the hassle so I took a hint and decided I'll just throw the ported heads on with the 396 bolted to them.

The Lady at NAPA told me that the same company that makes them for GM also makes them for NAPA.Its just different packaging. And Napa prices are better,$12 a gasket compared to $30 a gasket at the dealer. Here's the part #s
NGA 5975- Right
NGA 5976- Left

I believe it just for 98-00 cars 01 and 02's use a multi-layer gasket i heard.

So what happens when you try to order them directly off their website? Anyone have any luck trying?
