Who makes stock replacement forged rods and pistons for the LS1? Crower has some listed that are Billet Steel, but the are listing for $1480 thru Summit. These are also stock length. If there is a package out there that uses the 6.125" rods and custom pistons, who sells them as a package?

6.098 is the stock stroke and most all piston sets are custom made for your set up as you will probley hone your block 3-5000's.
Check with Thunder Racing or MTI for prices on a piston/rod setup...

Stock rod length is 6.098in, but most go to a 6.125 rod length with a custom piston (Pin needs to be pushed up) for a better rod stroke ratio to reduce the angularity of the piston at the top of the stroke.
Stock stroke is 3.62 btw.
Standard SBC rods will work for ls1's as they have the same .927in pin and 2.1in? journal dimensions. Of course you'd only really be able to go with the 6.125 SBC rod.
I got some brand new Eagle H-beams off e-bay for $296 shipped. They are a bit on the hefty side though.
