Default ls-1 parts swapping

where can i find info on swapping parts on ls-1 motors? i have a 2000 up block and need to know if earlier model ls-1 parts (heads/crank/cam etc.) would work.

I have it on good authority that the '98 crankshaft and crank position sensor is different than '99-up models... You can use whichever crank in whichever year motor, but you have to make sure you're using the appropriate crankshaft position sensor.
