Air powered spring compressor?
The only thing that I have heard of is an adaptor to go in the spark plug hole to keep the valves up to remove the springs without pulling the heads.
2+2=?
If there are compressers which will accept a rachet, and there are pneumatic ratchets... Um... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Air powered spring compressors have been around for 20 years that I know of, but all that I've seen assume that the head is off the car. Every reasonable automotive machine shop has one or more. They look like big C-clamps with the handle replaced by a pneumatic cylinder.
