Default Input...

First off, I have a 2000 trans am ws6, 6 speed with long tube headers, exhaust, air lid and 373 gears.
I am getting a cam (231 237 .589 .595 112??) and pulleys and belts installed soon.
In the future I plan on possibly heads, nitrous, supercharger, ect..

I was wondering since I already will have engine work being done...is there something I should do now, that may be needed later on...
What do you think about ported HV oil pump and double roller chain??
Thanks alot.

i would at least get a oil pump and a LS2 timing chain since your already in there. If you are pulling the motor to do this I would also do ARP or katech rod bolts.

nos/supercharger, grind that cam on a 114lsa, and upgrade to better oil pump, timing set, headgaskets and bolts.
