Valve shrouding???

I just got my cam and in two weeks I will install it with a set of LS6 heads on my truck. However, I laid a 5.3 head gasket over the head and noticed that the valves are slightly hanging over the gasket. I am sure that the lift will not be a problem. Looking at this I am going to use a LS1 gasket. However, I was wondering if this will hurt me more than help me. Should I go back with 5.3 heads or LS6 heads.

If your valves are overhanging the 5.3 gasket then they will most definitely hit the 5.3 bore. What size valves do you have???
