Default Max RPM for stock valvetrain?

I've got my HPP3 set at 6400 rev limiter right now. Is that too high? Also, my 1-2 shift is set at +4 and my 2-3 at +3. Is that too high? I haven't driver her yet, but I don't want to risk revving the engine too high. Thanks for any feedback.

Default Re: Max RPM for stock valvetrain?

that should be fine i had mine at 6600 for 30-40000 miles. never had a problem. the +4 can make you hit the revlimiter but if not than it should be fine. hitting the revlimiter is not the problem its manually overreving thats gona break stuff IE putting it in 2nd from 3rd at say 85mph.JMHO!
