Ok guys My car is not running as strong as i thought it would. here are some times i have been puting out. 13.5 @ 104 2.1 60ft I launched at 3500rpms and bogged very very bad. This is basicly what i have been running. I have ran better times but im stuck in the 13s. I don't have any kind of computer tuning and i shift at 6k rpms Here are my mods? what is wrong?!
I was thinking my Ported heads was the problem. When i first bought them from my friend they where already stage I heads flowing 245cfm with a 3 angle valve job. When i bought them i took the heads to a guy in College Station to get them ported some more. The problem is he didn't use a flow bench. But my other friends that got there heads ported by him are running great. Give me some ideas of what my be wrong. the cars feels good except it boggs very bad on a launch

I did atap it but im waiting for my friend to send me the results. He did say he saw my knock sensor where up over 2 deg while i was at open throttle but thats it. I was told i need to launch higher like at 6k and shift at like 7k Isn't my rev limit 6500? I still don't understand why i bogg so bad on my launches?????????

Yeah, you got "issues"...
Zat clutch still hangin'? Oughtta be about fried seeing as how it isn't up to the hp you should be puttin' out. Bogging could partly be the clutch.
Tuning could solve a lot of yer stuff. Yer PCM is holding back from something. You have no SES from the exhaust? Yer stock limiter is 6200, but that B1 should be shifted at over 6400.
What are ya running for tire pressure? Tires?
See, if I launch at *anything* but idle, I *spin* very bad (Yoko A032R's: NOT for drag-strip usage), and even then I haveta feather the throttle to hook at all...

Thanks jorge!
Yeah my clutch is going out it already got stuck to the floor once and now is feels very soft....
I use Nitto Drags when i goto the track, i hook pretty good. I do get a ses light because of my exhaust but my cats are gutted too. I would think i would beable to rev a lot higher with my cam and forged pistons. I need a hpp3!

Well for a heads, cam headers car your car is super slow...et and mph..a 2.10 60ft is not too bad I have got 2.20 on my street tires.I see some big problems here..either you are shifing super low or maybe hitting the rev limiter constantly..
Also what is your elevation..I can see those times if you were super high say 6000ft above sea level with maybe a super hot day like 100 plus degrees or something..or massive headwind.I am not that happy with my car best so far with cam is a corrected 13.63 at 108.4 with a 2.31 60ft.
You need a rev limiter increase..to 6800 to 7000 preferrably..the hpp only lets you go to 6600.You need a shift light..the harlan works good. That b1 cam revs very fast..easy to hit the limiter with it.I set my light way down at 6100 so probably shifting at 6200 to 6300 actual..should move it up to maybe 6200..6300 was hitting the limiter too much..course I wasn't power shifting.I would think you are super rich or lean or something also..and knock retard can hurt power..hard to say..hear headers and no cats make the cars super rich and the cam leans it a bit maybe.I am running mine no tuning right now as think my maft was not being consistent with my 02's.I will likely get ls1 edit..you spend this kind of money you might as well go the whole nine yards. Are you at high alititude..was it super hot that day.
My stock clutch lasted 5000 miles..they suck.get a clutch..

His runs are at RCR. Elevation around 700'.
I'm thinking hes shifting too low. He still has his stock rev limiter at 6200.
Also according to his Atap logs. His engine temps are around 225 deg. Not sure if thats hurting him. His timing is around 19-23 deg.

timing is way to low. Temperture is indeed pretty kind of high, but nothing to crazy. KR is probally setting high like u mentioned causing u low timing and indeed causing u crappy times. Your ypipe isnt hitting the floorboard? Could cause KR also and bog the motor down, and it can happen with the mac ypipe, it did on mine, just had to readjust it. Please dont run any new cobras and mention your mods.
