Default Sissy Question

Since LSA affects emmisions, how much much does it affect MPG?!? Seriously, if any of you have been able to keep your foot out of it long enough to notice! She's down to rare weekend duty, and I would love to put a MONSTER, stock head friendly 110-112 LSA cam in there, (TR230?) with the usual bolt-ons, and preferably no tuning. (Hoping 370+ rwhp) Possibly LS1Edit down the road (400+rwhpp?!) But the car is still the weekend trip car, since it's a vert! So MPG is still a concern. Sorry it's kinda long!

If you have a m6 dont worry about gas mileage it will still be decent now if you have an a4 with a stall and gears then gas is going to geteaten like crazy no matter the lsa.It went like this with me stock bad *** gas mileage then 3.73's better than what I thought I was going to get then I swapped in a converter and went to 3.23s and surprisingly I got good gas mileage even though it wouldnt lock up until 40 mph then came the cam and gas mileage went to ****.It was a 221/221 dur with 510/510 lift on a 114lsa with 4 degrees ground in so you can imagine what your big duration and low lsa will do your mileage.I hope this helped some what.

well, luckily, I have an M6. So basically, I can still get mid 20s, if I set the cruise. This is all theoretical, since I'm sure I'll be getting on it, but it helps to have some pros ready for the wife's cons on why I shouldn't cam the ride

I still get between 240-260 miles per 3/4 tank (about 11 gallons) in mixed highway/city driving, about the same as I did stock.
