Default valve springs help

what springs should i use with this cam, i do not want to have to machine the heads for springs.
222/222 .595 .595 112
i have a set of 3 week old 941s
should i use em till i can afford 918s or is there another springout there i can use that i can just jut in without machining the head. thnx

I wouldn't trust the 941's at all. Too many break. The 918's should hold up to the lift, but it will be close as well.

Use the 918's. Nothing says ya can't shim under the springs to get the correct height/spring compression.

Comp says the 918's are good for .600"+ lift. I say that's too much lift for a single spring to deal with. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" />
The REV dual spring kits sold by A&A Corvettes are a drop in. No machining required. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> They'll handle .620"+ lift and work very well in a daily driver.
