Default Flycutting question

Ok so apparently there are alot of people on this site that have either flycutted or are planning on flycutting their engines. What all does this consist of? Is there a special tool used for doing this or do you actually need to pull the pistons out of the car and take them in somewhere to have this done. And if anyone has before and after pics that would be great.

thanks

There's a tool that a couple vendors have that can be rented, I believe. It's just a stripped down cylinder head without valve seats and a pair of cutters that fit in the valve guides. You use a drill to run the cutters (imagine a valve with a serrated face) into the pistons to mill a set amount out of them so there is more clearance for larger duration cams.
