Default cylinder washing question

I guess this is the correct section for this...anyway. Can running a ls1 to much that is very rich damage the cylinder walls or cause any other serious damage besides most likely fouling out the plugs. With my new H/C set up my car runs very rich. Ive only put maybe 300 miles on it so far but I was just curious if it could mess anything up. I'm waiting to get tuned I just havent had much time lately. Thanks in advance.

How rich is it running? Did you measure it with a wideband?

aww yes, I was also wondering about getting gas into the oil, good point on the bearings. Just curious, what happens when you "wash" your cylinders? No on the wideband...I have a dynojet wideband that I will hopefully install tomorrow though if I get time. I think the only driving I will be doing is up to TSP when I get tuned.

ruins the rings, sometimes they will reseat if the damage isnt too bad, but most of the time the only fix is a ring job....
