Default Ported '98 heads on a '99 car.

I know I have to use the '98 valve covers. Will the coil pack rails from my '99 mount on the '98 covers, or will I have to mount them individually like the '98's originally were....?

TIA,

Dan

The racks will not bolt up to a 98 valve cover. I tried once already...

Don't forget the PCV system. The 98 valve covers use a different PCV system, so you'll need to rig one up or pick up a 99+ PCV.

Damn. Turning out to be more work than I thought.

May just have to sell off this set of cores and find some 99+.

I had the same problem with a head swap myself. Going from a 99 to 98 heads..... I ended up ordering a set of valve covers from a dealer for 100 bucks cause no one wanted to take my 99 cores and sell me the 98s. The coil packs are gonna have to come off indivdually and make sure you swap em around.

How much do you want for the 98 heads?
