Default Reverse Cam - lower specs

OK, I daily drive and autox. I want a cam that comes on at 1500 and I don't need to rev to 6600 to shift.

Will the reverse cam idea transfer to lower specs? Like say a 220/214 569/563 112 lsa? Will this be a torque monster for street driving?

Just trying to get ideas going. The reverse cam talks have been good, I just wondered if anyone thought about doing them lower.

I figure still take advantage of the exhaust side by staying higher ( headers ) and keeping intake lower ( I'm staying stock, no heads or LS6 intake ).

With less duration you can get tighter on the LSA
and have a cam that comes on harder. The custom cams on 109LSA's seem to be working for n/a 5.0's. Something like a 220/214 109lsa would be very interesting, and you'd definately know when its in its powerband. +

This would have less overlap than a 230/224 cam.

Heck should have even less overlap than a 220/220 112lsa cam.

The overlap is a good thing if its designed in because it lets your exhaust system work for you.

Interesting. I don't care about 1/4 mile as much as mid-range for autox and street. Would the 109 pass emissions?
