Thinking of installing a Hotcam... I want to install the Hotcam because of the price ($450.00 for kit). Do you thing that I could hit the 390rwhp mark by adding the Hotcam/pulleys/cutout to my current setup? I was thinking I could get 15rwhp with the pulleys/cutout and hopefully another 25+rwhp from the cam. Let me know if these numbers sound realistic.
Re: Thinking of installing a Hotcam... Do a search by "Ls1 HotCam" and check out the posts. On one that i was looking at the HotCam only made about 10hp and 10 ftlbs less than the TR224. The kit is now $400 dollars at SDPC(on this sites sponsors list). He had ARE stage 1 heads and some other mods and he made 390 rwhp and 377 rwtq. I don't know about you but to pay $800 for another kit and only gain 10 ponies is not worth it to me.
