Default Hey engine builders

We did H&C about 70K miles ago.Just torn engine down,why were the lower head bolts so hard to remove?I thought they were going to snap.They were screach'n and click'n

Mabye you had a little coolant/water inthe holes, or if you blew them out, mabye there was still some moisture on the threads that stuck the threads together.

They came 1/3 out before they got hard to turn.
