Default LS6 heads/5.3 heads

I want to get some heads for my motor, currently stock displacement and will have TR230/224 cam in(just waiting for it and a few other things to turn up).
At a later date I will be building up a 393 - 422 short motor.
So I want to make sure the heads I get will be of benifit tothe next motor.
I'm considering these from SDPC
Price: $985.00
Part # 88958622

Best buy on the planet! Unbelievable performance from fully CNC ported cylinder heads. Some of the best low and mid-lift numbers we have ever seen from a stock size valve. These heads will flow over 200cfm at 0.300" lift and 290+ at 0.500". Fully assembled with the 2002 Z06 light-weight valves and the new '02 valve springs. These heads have been milled 0.055" to bring the combustion chambers back down to approximately 60cc. Care must taken to check pushrod length and proper intake installation when using these cylinder heads. Price is for each cylinder head.

Old part number 12480176

or a set of TEA 5.3 liter stage 2's.CNCed and hand blended with 2.02 and 1.56 valves with larger diameter springs.

Both seem to represent value for money there's only $100 dollars difference in it.

Opinions please

There is no way a set 5.3L heads, even CNC ported, will be able to flow enough to support a 396 or 422. Go for the LS6 heads <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
