Camshaft Info., please
Any information will be appreciated:
The camshaft in question is an LPE with the following specification: 218/218, 0.314" lobe lift (0.534" at valve) with 114LSA.
The cam is suppose to be a prototype thus cannot get any info beyond what I have above.
I think Comp Cams have a similar cam to these specs.
Can anyone please tell me: (a) In the installation, would it normally be dot to dot?
(b) Are standard length pushrods O.K? I will be running 918 springs.
(c) Normally, with this type of cam would there be any issues with programming. The cam is going to be installed in an everyday driver type A4.
(d) What sort of behaviour, what power increases and in what rpm range can I expect.
Again, any information will be appreciated.
Cheers,
