Has anyone here hand ported or just hand polished their own heads?

I ported one of my 243s' and left the other completley stock to get an accurate flow comparison. I rounded and blended the material around the valve guide, opened the bowl up a little, removed the rocker bolt "hump" in the intake port and blended the intake port to a 215cc leaving a rough but smooth finish. On the exhaust side i smoothed the port and rounded the valve guided material leaving a mirror finish in the port.
here are the results
stock int / ported int / stock ex. / ported ex.
1.0 - 63.0 - 62.7 - 56.7 - 54.4
2.0- 134.6 - 135.4 - 116.0 - 117.8
3.0 - 191.4 - 195.3 - 156.7 - 166.0
4.0 - 232.9 - 242.2 - 165.8 - 177.1
5.0 - 260.5 - 274.6 - 183.5 - 198.0
5.5 - 253.9 - 266.3 - 186.4 - 202.6
6.0 - 247.3 - 257.9 - 189.2 - 207.1
this was achieved without a valve job. Although the after numbers are not stunning they were an improvement. After 5.0 both heads start becoming turbulent ( flown on a flow pro bench). When im done with the other head im bolting them on and stabbing a tr 224 112. hopefully the home port job actually improve some performance.
