Default Help!! how do i keep the pulley from turning the engine

I'm doing a cam swap.. and when i'm trying to bust loose the pulley bolt (to use the 3 jaw puller) i'm turning the engine. The heads are off my car and the car is in park, but it's turning the pulley and i'm not able to break the bolt loose. I have already bent a small crowbar.. and was gonna buy a peice of forged steel tonight to try to leverage the pulley on the block, so it doesn't move. Is there an easier way of locking it???

take your starter off and put a screw driver into the flywheel <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .

or, heres what i did to get mine off. i have an ASP pulley so it uses three screws that pull it out (instead of clamping like the stock one). i put my jack handle between the screws to keep it from turning, and it came out fine. im not sure if theres enough room between the jaws of the pulley, but thats another way to consider. its a pita to put back on that way though, lol.
