ok i know with solid rollers you can run a bigger cam more reliably than hydraulic but why? also does anyone have pics of a solid roller lifter versus a hydraulic one? i know this is kind of a silly question but solid roller doesnt affect emissions does it? my point being, if we can already run big enough hydraulic cams to be emissions illegal and still make big power up to 6500-7000rpm, whats the point of going solid roller then? i realize some places dont have emissions but you get my drift.

Here is a writeup I did for Speed Demon on his web page
http://www.speeddemonmotorsports.com...onversion.html
if you go to www.speeddemonmotorsports.com and click on "Tech" on the lift that is there, along with a few other articles.
