Does anyone know where this thing is on the 2001 Trans Am's?
I looked at a pic from a 98 T/A and mine is not in the same location.
I followed the only line from the throttle body to the valve cover, but there is no PCV valve in there.
My purpose is to find it and do a simple mod that I read about on a website that eliminated detonation issues. Cause was oil getting from the valve covers into the throttle body, then into the combustion chamber.
Any help locating this would be MUCH appreciated.

1. Open hood
2. Find your throttle body
3. Behind your throttle body is the air intake. A narrowed portion of the intake will extend roughly 2 inches to meet the throttle body.
4. On the passenger side of this narrowed portion (directly behind the throttle body) you will find a black hose connected. This is your PCV line.
5. Follow this line away from your intake about 4 inches.
6. The hose should connect to a cylindrical piece with a rubber boot on it and a wire connected to the passenger side head. Congratulations, you have just located your PCV valve.... I hope.
Good Luck <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I'll take another look. I didn't remember seeing anything cylindrical. Changed them on a Mustang and even bought one for my car, just couldn't find it. I hope you are right.
Thanks for the reply!
