Need help working on AC system with new motor.
Can anyone tell me what tools and parts I need to recharge my AC system? I'm pretty savy with the mechanics of my car but when it comes to AC I'm a friggin dolt.
Basically I had the motor pulled apart and to make my life easier I drained and removed the AC. Well the AC and the motor is all back together. I just need to know what to do about recharging the AC?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

need to pull a vaccum on it to evaporate all the moisture then you can charge it with a cheap service kit you can buy at a parts store (1.5 lbs of 134a I think) or just take it to a mechanic who has AC stuff to do it all since they most likely will be the one to pull the vacuum)

Thanks FB.
I'll see if my local auto store has the vacuum thingy and freon. I called the dealer they want $155 for the labor and freon to recharge my AC. Seems like too much in my eyes to fix this. Plus I hate those monkeys at the dealer touching my car

don't go to the dealer for god sake...any place that services auto ac can easily do this...it literally only takes less than 1/2 hour
