LQ9 408=cut and dry, direct replacement?
Will I be able to use 98 LS1 poly engine mounts? Flywheel, harmonic balancer, all accessories, radiator, etc etc?
The only things I had planned on buying were the 408 shortblock, L96 heads, L76 intake w/ 90mm TB fuel rails and injectors, cam, springs, pushrods, ls6 oil pump, ls7 lifters, walbro 255 pump or similar, full gasket kit (where's the best place to get a full gasket kit for an LQ9/L92/L76 build??), poly engine/tranny mounts, spark plugs and wires.
Am I missing anything? If I ship all these parts to the shop with my Camaro, blown LS1 (1 connecting rod and 2 rod bearings) will they be able to assemble and install it?
If I missed anything let me know. If it is NOT a cut and dry, direct bolt in and wire up kind of job, please leave a link write-up or leave some info here. They are willing to do it but they don't want to do it blindly. Thanks
