Default LQ9 408=cut and dry, direct replacement?

The shop that tore down my LS1 to check out the damage is also going to be installing my 408. They wanted me to check on here and make sure that the LQ9 based 408 iron block's are a direct, bolt in replacement.
Will I be able to use 98 LS1 poly engine mounts? Flywheel, harmonic balancer, all accessories, radiator, etc etc?
The only things I had planned on buying were the 408 shortblock, L96 heads, L76 intake w/ 90mm TB fuel rails and injectors, cam, springs, pushrods, ls6 oil pump, ls7 lifters, walbro 255 pump or similar, full gasket kit (where's the best place to get a full gasket kit for an LQ9/L92/L76 build??), poly engine/tranny mounts, spark plugs and wires.

Am I missing anything? If I ship all these parts to the shop with my Camaro, blown LS1 (1 connecting rod and 2 rod bearings) will they be able to assemble and install it?

If I missed anything let me know. If it is NOT a cut and dry, direct bolt in and wire up kind of job, please leave a link write-up or leave some info here. They are willing to do it but they don't want to do it blindly. Thanks

may have to get the correct reluctor wheel for the cam position sensor-maybe someone else can chime in here but i know a few people who have done ls2/ l92/ ls7 swaps have had this issue. dont forget the l92 heads use the offset rocker so u will need to modify the valve covers to fit and find another way of using the pcv or just deleting it all together.

Edit: Waiting on a response from a member here, but I may be going with AFR 225s and a FAST 90/90 setup instead of the L92/L76

A 408 requires no modification for a direct replacement to your LS1, other than drilling another bolt hole for the alternator bracket. On the 6.0 block, there is only one hole where the alternator bracket mounts. You will see this when assembling it and thus will see that you need to drill one more hole for the alternator bracket. Other than that, you should be good to go.

I bolted the alt bracket in place and used a drill bit that barely fit the hole and made the starter hole for the smaller tap sized drill bit. I did mine while it was on the engine stand. I believe it would be a major pain to do in the car. The cast iron really drills easy.

Does anyone have pics of the alternator after it was bolted up on the iron block?
