Default High idle and SES light

My car was vandalized about 2 1/2 months ago. I took it to the dealership to get repainted. (All but one quarter panel). Its been back 5 times b/c they have swirl in the paint, but even after the FIRST time I picked it up, the idle was strange.

It would idle at 1200 rpm. Then at 60mph it wouldn't drop below 2000 rpm, even if I shifted into neutral (standard), until I was at a complete stop. I'm wondering if you have any ideas on what could have caused that?

Any way, it was idling high more than not, and slowly started fading away. That made me think that when they painted, they were unclean and clogged me with dirst. The air filter was terrible.

Yesterday it started again for the first time in a week and my SES light came on. Five days ago I went from a ported MAF to a Granatelli. Maybe that caused the code?

I checked the gas cap, its on... The only engine mods I have are bolt ons and mostly air intake and mufflers.

Any ideas?

Anyone know how to reset the SES?

Do a search on computer reset and you'll find out how. It's been so long that I haven't had to do it that I don't remember which 2 fuses you have to pull. You should have it scanned to find out what code it threw before you reset.

Here ..I found it for you.

"That will work. The other way is to turn on the key, remove the PCM Batt fuse and the PCM ignition fuse. Let sit for 5 minutes and turn off key and reinsert fuses. Start car and let idle for 5 minutes. This will do some system checks including O2's. It will also do a idle relearn. Also the car must be at outside temps. So do it after the car has been off for awhile."
