Default How do you get air out of engine coolant?

I did the throttle body bypass mod and lost some fluid and havn't filled it back up yet so maybe that's my problem but I noticed today after I turn off my car, I get this slushing sound going through the throttle body bypass, sounds like air is in their possibly too. A guy on another board said I HAVE to get the air out of their cuz it's bad for the motor. I didn't know doing the TB Bypass mod was this complicating! How am I supposed to fix this? thanks

Here's an easy method, I've done this about 4 times always works:
Park car so front passenger side is slightly higher than the rest. Start and let it idle until the tstat is completely open, which you can tell because the coolant will start circulating very fast and the level will drop. Don't be fooled by minor coolant sloshing, this takes a long time - 15+ minutes maybe. Then just top up, and put the cap back on. This works because the rad. cap opening is the highest point, and by the time the stat is completely open all the air bubbles will have left.

I took off the radiator cap today and started the car up for about 10 minutes and would increase the rpms every now and then and I got a whole bunch of bubbles out. I had to turn it off because it started overflowing. I noticed when I got back from a drive after that, I still heard the gurgling/slushing sound in the throttle body bypass line. My dad says it will go away on it's own over time, I hope he's right.
