break in for cam, 918's, and new rods?

Default break in for cam, 918's, and new rods?

im just wondering, but is there a certain break in for these before i WOT it?

cam should be in tuesday along with the 918 springs and chromemoly pushrods <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

No you don't have to break anything in. Just make sure that everything is running right and sounds right. If everything checks out, drop the hammer!

Just bring the car up to operating temps and then it cool off for awhile. After doing this a few times, you are ready to roll!

When I did my cam and springs only install, I gave it 2 heat cycles in the driveway and for the third a short easy cruise to listen for anything unusal. Then I stopped at Cecil as it was kinda on the way home. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

You should let the engine idle for 5 minutes before revving it when you change your springs.
