LS1 orLS6 Sorry about this guys,I cant even amagine how many times this has been asked,But i checked first and didnt find anything.I currently have a 02 35th LE SS with 33k,and was thinking of building or buying a LS6 short block and was wondering is the ls6 block stronger or am i better off just building my LS1?Theres a guy in here that has a ls6 long block[new] from gm that i was thinking abouy getting and camming it,Or am i better off just picking up some good gm or aftermarket LS6 heads, then camming.I figured you guys would be the ones to ask THANKS EDALSO,I have QTP headers,True duals into a CME thanks
Dropping in a complete LS6 is a 100% waste of time, money, and effort. You have an 02 which has the LS6 intake already and may or may not have the LS6 block.
Forget the LS6 hype because its not really true, just buy some nice aftermarket stuff if youre gonna do the work anyway.
