Default LS2 Chain on LS1?

Well like the title says, I'm looking to upgrade my LS1 timing chain and I hear through the grapevine that the LS2 setup will be a direct upgrade/replacement. Is this true? Are the upper and lower sprocket the same and will I need a new underdrive pulley?

thanks

Ditto. Infact you shouldnt even be able to buy an LS1 chain anymore. Theyll hand you the LS2.
