Default Degree Wheel Help Needed

i've got my adjustable timing set installed and now i need to purchase a degree wheel. i already own dialindicator (sp?) and magnetic base.

if i buy this degree wheel from summit, will i need anything else?

are the adaptors with the other kit necessary, or would this 9 in degree wheel from Comp be any better?

suggestions on anything else that might be needed would be appreciated!

if you are doing it in the car, buy the comp cams 9" one. smaller one is easier to manuever/use in the car.

I agree, on an engine stand bigger is better. In a cramped LS1 go smaller.

You will need a degree wheel, wire pointer, magnetic base and dial indicator, piston stop, degree wheel mount to crankshaft. You need the ability to turn the crank in normal engine rotation and opposite engine rotation while holding the degree wheel in place.
