Can you install a cam without future problems?
This is my daily driver so I can't afford to not have transportation. He is a very spirited driver and races quite a bit (from a roll- around 25mph) so maybe that could be it but I race my car quite a bit too and it doesn't break. I think he has a very sound package so I don't think it is the parts. The engine only has 20k miles on it and the install went smoothly and started right up afterwards with no problems except a rough idle that he fixed by drilling out his throttle body.
SO, should I spend the four grand on a reliable used daily driver and wait until next year to do the install? I'm not sure. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
cam followed by the other parts,
I put a cam in first, then 1 year later added
headers to it..
Make sure the parts you pick play nice together;
Not all mods add up to a great motor.
